Margot is first and foremost our pride and joy!! She is the first home grown pup that we've kept (we sold all the good ones in the past) She was third born in the "HELL" litter, a name we came to regret in many ways.. At 6 weeks of age we had to put down her pied litter brother due to a blood infection (welcome to the world of breeding). At nine weeks we sold her other brother (In my opinion, the pick.. N.M) Mali was sold on the Friday and srolen on the Sunday, never to be found. Needless to say we will be hesitant to ever test fate again. (Please note that I have heard it from other breeders of dogs not to play with such forces as witches, demons and such when naming litters- your asking for trouble!!!)
Margot is a standard size, stylish bitch who oozes type and temperament, despite much criticism from experts before the litter eventuated. Although often the bridesmaid (2 challenges, 10 reserves) she has always mixed it with the best in Regional, State and Specialist shows. (First in her class at the British Terrier Show under Judge David Lowe, third at the British Terrier Show (October), first place going on to take challenge, 25 point challenge under Linda Martin and going on to take runner up Best Of Breed beside her half brother Staffgait Buddy L, First in her class and reserve challenge bitch at Wagga and Junoir in Group both days under Stephanie Godfrey & Lyn McKitrick)
Margot also received limit bitch in the property classes at this show, she has multiple age in groups to her name. Some have comment to make about our pint sized beauty (even uneducated all breed judges)- Margot is 15 inches- well within the standard and of course far more correct than the 17+ we see in the ring lately.
We look forward to many more days with our "Daddy's Girl" and are eager to see the quality she can produce.
